Alexandria account and Google sign-in
Updated October 19, 2026.
Alexandria is operated by Lightning Learning Studios Inc, doing business as Lightning Inspiration. This policy covers Alexandria. The account details in this section and the sections below form one privacy notice.
Information we access and use
If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information to create and authenticate your account, display your profile, and provide account support. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, Google Drive files, or calendar. You can also sign in with email.
Who can receive information
We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing. We do not provide your Google account data to data brokers or information resellers.
Service providers process information to operate Alexandria. Supabase handles authentication and stores account and profile information. PostHog receives account identifiers, names, email addresses, and app activity for product analytics. OneSignal receives account identifiers and email addresses for notifications in the native app. These disclosures support Alexandria, not another company’s independent use of your information.
If you use Alexandria’s AI chat, the AI service providers listed in the AI products section process your messages and relevant reading context to generate a response. Your profile name can be included to address you correctly. Do not include information in a chat that you do not want processed for that response. This does not give Alexandria access to additional Google account data.
Storage and protection
Account and profile information is stored in our hosted database. The app also stores session information on your device so that you can stay signed in. We use encrypted network connections and access controls to protect this information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
We keep account information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. The retention limits and legal exceptions in the notice below also apply. You can request deletion from Settings → Delete account or contact support@lightninginspiration.com. You can revoke Google access from your Google Account permissions. Revoking access does not itself delete your Alexandria account.
Alexandria’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
